Coastal Home Partnership of Santa Barbara (California)
The Coastal Home Partnership provides seminars on home buying several times per month to any employee of the more than 70 member businesses that make up this group.  These seminars cover the loan process and the type of loan a buyer can afford, credit score, types of loans, real estate agents, and aspects of the Coastal Home Partnership that can save homebuyers money on a down payment or closing costs.  Click here for more information on the program. 
 
Milwaukee Housing Partnership (Wisconsin)
An alliance between NeighborWorks America, the City of Milwaukee, the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority, and several other nonprofits, this partnership funds homeowner counseling and loan programs for up to 500 new homeowners.  The intent of the program is to help homebuyers get quality advice on finding the best deal on a home as well as to help them avoid pitfalls such as sub-prime loans or foreclosures.  Click here for more information or visit the Select Milwaukee Web site.
