Lafayette Street Corridor Project News
2006 
Edwards and Kelcey completed the Lafayette Street Land Use Access Study for Montgomery County in June 2006.  The document investigated available land, points of access, and opportunities/constraints for development along the Norristown and Plymouth Township riverfront. 
 
Environmental clearance was granted by the Federal Highway Administration in July 2006.
 
 
2007
All preliminary engineering work will be completed.  The next phase, final design, will begin.  Final design includes creating detailed engineering plans, coordinating the relocation of utility infrastructure, and acquiring necessary rights-of-way.
